Bay Twisters was established in 2013 when Mum of 2 ‘Rebecca Grigson’ moved to Tauranga, one of her daughters Anna Grigson had been doing cheer in Auckland and when came to Tauranga and realising there was no cheer clubs here decided to open a club. Starting with 8 athletes the sport soon grew and now has over 120 athletes of all ages in both competitive and non competitive cheer. Rebecca prides her club on being like a second home for the kids, a real family vibe.
Bay Twisters is a non profit club and is very grateful for all the funding the club receives to help with our facilities and things we need.
We have athletes that have represented New Zealand and will help these kids achieve their goals.
We offer classes for kids aged 4-19 years and also run a boys only tumble class.
