He has signed on for another 3 years with the club. His philosophy for the club and cheer in general is:
“Cheer is not just a sport, it’s a lifestyle. Cheer teaches you not only fitness but how to be social, to problem solve, to push through when the going gets tough and that you are never alone. We are not just athletes from different backgrounds coming together. We are a family, and family is for life”

Hello my name is Leah and I’m 16 years old.
This is my fourth year cheering at Bay Twisters and I absolutely love it. Bay Twisters has made me progress so much and last year I was lucky enough to trial for team New Zealand and made it onto Legendz. This team was a huge commitment as trainings were 3 times a week up in Auckland but me and my family were up to the challenge to help me achieve my goal.
This year I’m so excited to be apart of Inferno ( level 4 ) and junior coach Tornadoes ( level 3 ) with Priya. I absolutely love coaching and seeing kids progress with their skills and helping them to achieve their goals and become closer with team mate.
Hi, I’m Priya, I am 16 years old.
I started cheerleading at 6 years old and I have competed all over New Zealand and in Brisbane.
During my 10 years, I have made amazing friend and have many special memories.
Currently I am a credentialed coach up to level 3.
I am in Level 4 inferno this year and I am coaching level 3 Tornadoes. It is very satisfying to watch athletes learn and grown and to be able to help them.
