Aqua are an adventurous new Youth Level 1 cheer team from Bay Twisters Tauranga. Athletes aged 8–12 bring enthusiasm, creativity, and determination to each routine. Competing at 6 competitions this year, Aqua are ready to make waves and proudly represent Bay Twisters Tauranga with energy and fun!

Hi guys! I’m Anna and I’m currently the head coach for Bay Twisters! I’m so lucky because I get to work with all of our teams here! I have been cheering since I was 5 years old so I have 15 years of experience. I have competed on every level as well as competing at ICU Worlds and The Cheerleading Worlds in The States. I have also been lucky enough to live in England and America as well as getting to compete for The Lady Jags! I’m a bronze and silver medalist for ICU and a bronze medalist for Worlds as well as being an NZ National Champion! I have been coaching for about 8 years and was the youngest person to pass their coaches credentials. I love all of our kids so much and can’t wait to keep working with them
Hi, I’m Sasha, Rainbows assistant coach for the season. I have been doing cheerleading for 9 years and am a 2024 world champion. I cheer at All Star Legacy on Legendz and hope to be able to bring those skills to Bay Twisters to inspire young athletes. This year I will be coaching starlets, aqua and ice.
