Tsunami are a fierce and energetic Junior Level 2 cheer team from Bay Twisters Tauranga. Made up of athletes aged 11–18, this team brings power, teamwork, and excitement to the mat. Competing at 6 competitions this year, Tsunami are ready to make waves and proudly showcase Bay Twisters Tauranga’s spirit!

I’m Anna and I’m currently the head coach for Bay Twisters! I’m so lucky because I get to work with all of our teams here! I have been cheering since I was 5 years old so I have 15 years of experience. I have competed on every level as well as competing at ICU Worlds and The Cheerleading Worlds in The States. I have also been lucky enough to live in England and America as well as getting to compete for The Lady Jags! I’m a bronze and silver medalist for ICU and a bronze medalist for Worlds as well as being an NZ National Champion! I have been coaching for about 8 years and was the youngest person to pass their coaches credentials. I love all of our kids so much and can’t wait to keep working with them!
