Rainbows are our Mini Novice team that will be competing at two competitions this year. This team is an introductory team to competitive cheer.
They learn to tumble, stunt, jump and dance like all of our other competitive teams, but with much less pressure due to only competing twice throughout the year. They are able to get a good understanding for what to expect with full competitive teams. These kids are sure to bring a smile to your face when they take the floor this year.
Age ranges from 4 to 8 years.

Hi guys! I’m Anna and I’m currently the head coach for Bay Twisters! I’m so lucky because I get to work with all of our teams here! I have been cheering since I was 5 years old so I have 15 years of experience. I have competed on every level as well as competing at ICU Worlds and The Cheerleading Worlds in The States. I have also been lucky enough to live in England and America as well as getting to compete for The Lady Jags! I’m a bronze and silver medalist for ICU and a bronze medalist for Worlds as well as being an NZ National Champion! I have been coaching for about 8 years and was the youngest person to pass their coaches credentials. I love all of our kids so much and can’t wait to keep working with them!
Hi, I’m Sasha, Rainbows assistant coach for the season. I have been doing cheerleading for 9 years and am a 2024 world champion. I cheer at All Star Legacy on Legendz and hope to be able to bring those skills to Bay Twisters to inspire young athletes.
